Alphatec provided total A/E services for the three dormitory and administrative buildings experiencing airflow stratification/imbalances, zone temperature conflicts, and inadequate heating and cooling. Buildings A, B, and C house different types of youth populations that must remain separated and independent.  Phasing and logistics were developed in order to safely evacuate, upgrade, and re-populate each building. The project included architectural reinforcements and improvements, total mechanical system replacement, electrical upgrades, plumbing redesign, fire protection alterations, estimating, code compliance, life safety, quality control review, scheduling, and sustainability improvements.
