PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of the renovation of the old passport office suite in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institute to an open concept exhibit space for visitors. The exhibit space accommodates seating for 30 people with space for another 50 persons. Moreover, the adjacent 400-SF lobby space underwent a minor renovation to meet the needs of the new entrance security checkpoint. Alphatec provided complete A/MEP design services, a Program of Requirements, and Section 106 Historic Submission for approval.
